Toronto Climbers for Make-A-Wish!

We now have 20 Toronto Climbers committed to throwing themselves off the top of Toronto City Hall on June 8th, in this year's Rope for Hope campaign for Make-A-Wish Canada. To qualify for this rappel, each team member must raise at least $1,500 for Make-A-Wish, and some have set their goals higher at $2,000 to $4,000 - and in one case $15,000! The funds raised will be used by Make-A-Wish to grant wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions, giving these kids increased hope, strength and enjoyment of life.

12 team members are active climbers you may know. Six of them have yet to meet their goals and are looking for your financial support; George Hendrie, Luke Myles, Ray Nakano, Gina Peixoto, Mylissa Prisner, and Anastasia Kaschenko. Anastasia is doing the rappel this year in memory of her father, Boris, who was an active member of Toronto's climbing community and did the rappel last year.

To support any of these climbers, search for toronto.ropeforhope.ca, then find the Toronto Climbers team. This site shows the names of the 20 active members of the Toronto Climbers team and their results to date. To support the climber of your choice, just click on that climber's name to take you to a personal donation site.

With your help, the Toronto Climbers team hopes to raise at least $50,000, and has so far raised close to $40,000. Please help us reach 100% of our goal by rappel day on June 8th!
