Climbing: Women and Genderqueer Trad Event

WHEN: Saturday June 8, 2024  

WHERE:   Kelso or Rattlesnake Conservation Area; TBD at a later date (Reservations required).

DESCRIPTION:  This event is for women and genderqueer climbers of any experience level in trad climbing.  The goal will be to meet other climbers, top rope or lead on trad climbs, or for those new to trad, there will be opportunity for mentorship.  

MAX PARTICIPANTS:  10

GEAR:  Helmet (mandatory), harness, climbing shoes, belay device, trad gear and rope (optional), lunch, water, sunscreen and insect repellent.  

COST: Participants are responsible for their own park reservations and gate fees to Conservation Halton Parks.

WAIVER: Please read the ACC waiver before attending. Members should ensure that their membership is up to date and have signed the online waiver. Non members should be prepared to sign a full-colour, paper copy of the waiver in ink upon arrival to the event.
