Early Season Ski Warm Up with Tips

December 14th, 2019, 9:00 am to 4:30 pm

WHERE: Mount St. Louis, 24 Mount St Louis Road West RR 4 Coldwater (with Horseshoe as a backup)

This is a chance to get an earlier local start to your  season and meet some other members. The trip leader is a certified ski instructor and will provide tips on mild changes to your technique to enhance your skiing. This trip will also be a great opportunity for members to check out the skill hill’s new expansion!

Mount St. Louis is usually the first ski hill open in the area for the season and generally has some of the better early season conditions.

Carpooling from the Highway 400 & 7 carpool lot can be arranged. Snowboarders are welcome, but technique tips can only be provided to skiers.

COST: A lift ticket ($67 + HST) must be purchased at the ski resort. Rentals are available for an additional cost, if required. If you plan to carpool, bring some cash to split gas costs.

GEAR: Ski Helmet (mandatory), weather appropriate ski apparel (jacket, pants, gloves, goggles etc.) Sunblock is encouraged as you can burn quickly on the snow. Downhill ski equipment (skis, boots and poles) are required and can be rented if necessary. You can bring a lunch, or purchase food at the chalet.

TRIP LEADER: For more information or to sign up please contact Brad Sutton at Brad.R.Sutton@gmail.com by December 11th to sign up for this trip.
