<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>COST:</strong> <strong>$425 (HST included) per course</strong>, includes books and accommodation. Does not include meals. 100% non-refundable/non-transferable deposit will be required for registration.  *Consult trip leader for payment deadlines.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Wilderness First Aid:</strong> Basic level of Wilderness &amp; Remote First Aid that covers material in Standard First Aid &amp; CPR, plus special material on techniques for wilderness and remote areas. Course also offers strategies for providing extended care for up to 24 hours. Part of the course is taught in an outdoor setting and requires greater physical activity and endurance than typical first aid training.  No other pre-requisites required.<br>Additionally on site there is a cliff with a large ledge, making it a great teaching setting for climber focused first aid and rescue.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Advanced Wilderness First Aid:</strong> CANADIAN RED CROSS ADVANCED WILDERNESS AND REMOTE FIRST AID CERTIFICATION 20+ hours of instruction by David Dick (Alpha Response). This is an extension to the previous weekend&#8217;s course open only to those who have completed the basic wilderness and remote first aid certificate.  Skills will be reviewed and practiced in greater detail, expanding student&#8217;s proficiency</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>GEAR:</strong>&nbsp;Camping gear if intending to camp</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>ACCOMMODATIONS:</strong>&nbsp;Camping will be allowed on site, be prepared for the weather.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>PARTICIPANTS:</strong> Minimum of 8 participants required to offer each course.
