Winter Camping at Rattlesnake Point

When: February 9-10, 2019

Where: Rattlesnake Point – meet at upper parking lot
 7200 Appleby Line, Milton, ON L9E 0M9

Join me in enjoying the winter with this overnight camping at Rattlesnake Point. It will be a good time to try out your winter skills. There will be hiking through the valley on the Bruce Trail to Crawford Lake, some rock climbing on some cold crisp rock and sitting around a nice fire. Meeting point will be the upper parking lot at 8:30 a.m. First-time winter campers are welcomed. Max participants: 4

Cost – $10

Gear – Winter camping gear (tent, sleeping pad, sleeping bag, stove to heat up drink and/or meals). Climbing gear (harness, shoe, mandatory helmet, belay device). Hiking gear (warm clothing, good shoes, food and water, headlamps, snowshoes if needed), a chair for sitting around the fire and food and water for the weekend
