What: Calabogie Capers (or Calaboogie Nights)

Where: Calabogie, Lac Poisson Blanc, or Gatineau Park

Gear: Helmet, Harness, belay device, ice tools, rigid boots, crampons, warm clothing, good gloves, lunch, and thermos.

Description: A weekend event at a reliable ice climbing area with many climbs having a range of difficulties. Calabogie is about five hours from Toronto. Accommodations have been arranged in Ottawa for climbers arriving Friday night and leaving Sunday afternoon (contact the trip leader). We will car-pool from Ottawa on Saturday and Sunday. Top-ropes will be established but leaders are very welcome. The trip will be cross-advertised with the Ottawa Section.

Non-ACC members may participate for free if they have never attended an ACC climbing trip before. Basic ACC membership is only $49 per year (which includes the Toronto Section affiliation upgrade). Helmets are mandatory at all outdoor climbing events.
