We’re excited to announce that Ian Welsted will be our guest speaker for our AGM on November 21st at The Granite Brewery and Tied House. Please RSVP so we can plan accordingly; additional details below. This event is free for all members and non members.
Bio:
Ian is an ACMG alpine guide, past Banff Book Festival jury member and Piolet D’Or recipient, and one of the most active alpine climbers in the Canadian Rockies. He has a love of the ACC after meeting his life partner at Artists’ Week 7 years ago, and enjoys the GMC every summer. As much as for summits achieved and climbs completed, Ian appreciates the mountains for the friendships formed and the lessons learned. He is greatly looking forward to reconnecting with central Canadian climbers after first learning to ice climb at McGill University more than 3 decades ago.
Hors d’oeuvres will be served compliments of ACC Toronto Section. Additional food and cash bar available.
