Applications for the 2025 ACC Climbing Leadership Course are now being accepted. This year’s course will be held in Squamish, BC from August 7th to 10th, 2026 with two evening online sessions on August 3rd and 4th, 2026. It will focus on the skills needed to run a top rope crag session, including hazard management, anchor building, rope management, rescue skills and more! We’re pleased to report yet another successful year of garbage clearing at Tiffany Falls and Devil’s Punchbowl along Hamilton’s Escarpment. Throughout the year, various garbage and trash finds its way into these conservation areas; some with steep incline – a perfect opportunity for our club to lend a hand on cleanup week! Particularly for Tiffany Falls, our club has interest in keeping these areas clean as we benefit from ice climbing there – when the weather cooperates. Huge shoutout to all the volunteers that pushed through on the cleaning efforts despite somewhat questionable weather this past weekend.

As many were aware, our long-standing Pub Nite location (The Imperial) sadly closed late last year.
