Climbing: Beaver Valley Climbing Festival 2026 – Aug 14-16

South Ontario’s annual Beaver Valley Climbing Festival hosted by Ontario Access Coalition will take place August 14th to 16th. The festival features camping, climbing, and all around good times! Meet other climbers, enjoy the food, vendors, and entertainment while being minutes away from many local crags such as Devil’s Glen, Old Baldy, Metcalfe, Swamp and many more! The Toronto section will be supporting this event by hosting a climbing meetup on Saturday August 15th featuring some choice routes ready to be climbed on top rope. Climbing: ACC Toronto Section Members Climbing Meet-Up – Mt Nemo – Aug 15

WHEN:  Saturday, August 15, 2026 – 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (TBC) WHERE: Mt Nemo Conservation Area DESCRIPTION:  Come connect with other ACC Toronto Section members and get your climbing on with a day of self-guided and self-directed rock climbing at Mt Nemo.   We’ll meet in the parking lot at 9:00 am before hiking in as a group at 9:30 am.  Once at the crag members are welcome to set top-ropes, and lead sport or trad climbs as they see fit.  Based on group preferences we’ll move along the crag sampling a variety of classic Ontario rock climbs.
