DESCRIPTION:  Hiking and mountaineering trip in California – Oregon – Washington states.We will travel by car from south to north along Cascades Mountain range while gradually gaining altitude for acclimatization. After 3 days hiking in Yosemite (including the hike to summit Half Dome), we will attempt climbing Mount Shasta (4‎,322 m) if snow/ice routes (such as Avalanche route) will be available. When: Saturday, April 23rd @ 8 am at the parking lot Where: Devil’s Punchbowl, Stoney Creek, ON. Description: High angle clean up of trash at one of the most scenic areas on the Niagara Escarpment. Work involves mainly prussiking up and down ropes throughout the main canyon. Contact trip leader for details.
