The Toronto Section has set the dates for our annual Canadian Red Cross Wilderness and Remote First Aid and Advanced Wilderness First Certification Courses. They will be held on April 26-28 and May 4-5, respectively.  Participants who lead two trips subsequent to taking one of these two courses will be eligible for a 50% rebate on course fees.  Weekend 1: CANADIAN RED CROSS WILDERNESS AND REMOTE FIRST AID CERTIFICATION. Tolerated = Climbing access is informally accepted.  Tread lightly. Dear Mountaineers The North Face Leadership Course is The Alpine Club Of Canada’s flagship program for training aspiring section trip leaders. Through alpine environments and technical travel, these leadership courses emphasize the ‘human-factor’ in leader’s decision-making, applicable to ACC activities across Canada. The Toronto section can endorse up one candidate for the course. We are now accepting applications.
