South Ontario’s annual Beaver Valley Climbing Festival hosted by Ontario Access Coalition will take place August 14th to 16th. The festival features camping, climbing, and all around good times! Meet other climbers, enjoy the food, vendors, and entertainment while being minutes away from many local crags such as Devil’s Glen, Old Baldy, Metcalfe, Swamp and many more! The Toronto section will be supporting this event by hosting a climbing meetup on Saturday August 15th featuring some choice routes ready to be climbed on top rope.
Highlights include:
- Camping at McNichol Farm, minutes from Metcalfe Rock,
- Saturday dinner with live music,
- Raffle prizes and giveaways totaling thousands of dollars,
- Vendors and gear demos,
- Evening bonfires and hangouts, and
- Supporting Ontario climbing access
Proceeds from the festival support the Ontario Access Coalition’s work to protect outdoor climbing access in Ontario.
