WHERE: Bellevue Valley Lodge, Goulais River ON
DESCRIPTION: This February, let’s head up to Algoma for some of the best backcountry skiing and
splitboarding Ontario has to offer! We’ll be spending 3 nights and 3 days backcountry skiing at the Bellevue Valley Lodge. The owners have been clearing and maintaining their glades for over 40 years. With 1000 acres to play in, yearly snow accumulation of 250-300 inches and over 200 meters of vertical drop, we’ll be primed for some exceptional steep and deep! In addition, we’ll be there for the lodge’s annual Telefest backcountry festival! The event includes lunch, dinner, entertainment, guided backcountry touring and of course meeting new likeminded snow stompers. More details to follow.
COST: $500 per person. Includes dorm-style accommodation at the lodge, 3 days of guided access to the backcountry and entry fee into Telefest! Cost does not include food (excluding Saturday lunch/dinner included in Telefest) or transportation. Meal plan and carpooling to be determined by participant preferences.
