We’re excited to share that ACC Toronto will be participating in the upcoming MEC Gear Swap at MEC Toronto! We’re looking for Volunteers and for Sellers!
Event Details:
Date: May 2 & 3
Time: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Location: MEC Toronto (300 Queen St W)
ACC Toronto will have two tables: a Demo table (volunteers needed!) and a Selling table (free to ACC members, registration required).100% of proceeds from table rentals go toward supporting our ACC section.
Volunteers Needed!
We’re looking for volunteers to help out during the event. If you’re interested, please email social@alpineclubtoronto.ca and indicate which day(s) you’re available (May 2 and/or 3).
Note: If you’re planning to sell gear, you’re welcome to double up as a volunteer.
Want to Sell Your Gear?
Option 1: Use an ACC Table (Free but limited space)
- Must be an ACC Toronto member
- Email social@alpineclubtoronto.ca to reserve your spot
- Indicate: Subject: “ACC Gear Swap Request”
- Which day you plan to attend
- Approximately how much gear you’ll have (space is limited)
- You’ll be responsible for labelling, pricing, and selling your items
- All proceeds go directly to you
- Spots are first come, first served
Option 2: Rent Your Own Table via MEC ($20 + fees)
- Includes one 6ft table
- Booking deadline: April 27 via Eventbrite (MEC website)
- Limited to 20 tables (first come, first served)
