2024 Toronto Section Mountaineering Camp – July 19-26

When: July 19-26
Where: Jim Haberl Hut in the Tantalus Range, near Squamish, BC.
What: Our Annual Section Camp will be in the Tantalus Range; offering big alpine rock routes, big glaciers, and challenging traverses! Join us for our self-guided camp or sign up for an ACMG Guide-taught Intro-to-Mountaineering Course run concurrently with our Section Camp. Registration starts Saturday Jan 20 @ 9 am sharp!
Max Participants:
Total Participants: 18
For Section Camp: 14 – 7 sleeping in the hut, 7 camping adjacent to the hut.
For Intro-to-Mountaineering: 4 (sleeping in the hut).
All participants use the hut for meals and free time.
Cost:
Costs based on best estimate of the overall costs of Section Camp. Unforeseen changes to quotes given (particularly from the helicopter company – such as fuel cost increases or unavailability of a larger chopper) could affect the overall price and require an additional payment in June, or a potential refund after Section Camp. Approximate prices include tax.

Hut participants ~$1600
Camping participants ~$1400
Minor extra food costs may apply for those requiring significant food restrictions.
Travel to Squamish, BC as well as accommodations in Squamish are not included.
