Only a few spots left if you are interested in taking the Wilderness First Aid course! Be prepared for your adventures by being ready for adverse situations. This course taught by a certified instructor covers material in Standard First Aid & CPR, plus special material on techniques for wilderness and remote areas. By completing the course, you will receive the Canadian Red Cross Wilderness and Remote First Aid Certificate which meets the high level of standards set by the Canadian Red Cross. Clinic: Crevasse Rescue – May 29

WHEN: May 29, 2022 8AM-3PM LOCATION: Natural crevasses on Bruce trail close to Kelso area. The exact location will be communicated to participants prior to the event. DESCRIPTION: Practice crevasse rescue skills in various scenarios including hauling a person out of a crevasse using pulley systems and self-rescue by ascending rope.
