This is an ice climbing and mixed climbing clinic for people of all levels of ability. We review equipment, technique, gear placement, anchors, and safety protocols. The 2020/2021 Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival & World Tour is bringing adventures & stories to a couch near you! We do not expect to be running the World Tour show in Toronto in 2021. This is a fun day in the snow for beginner skiers with some nordic skiing experience, and are looking to improve their skills (classic or skate). Blind River, Iron Bridge, Ontario (6 hours north of Toronto)Departure will be Friday, Feb. 14 (after work); return on Monday, Feb. 17, 2020. This is an ice climbing weekend in Algoma. There is normally lots of fantastic ice in the area, although conditions are lean to middling so far this year. There are multiple areas with multiple climbs between 20-50 metres high.
